Council of PTAs to host school board candidate forum on April 17

The Northwest ISD Council of PTAs will host its annual election forum for school board candidates from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Pike Middle School. Council leaders have partnered with the nonpartisan League of Women Voters to run the forum, which is open to the public.

Three Northwest ISD Board of Trustee places will appear on ballots for registered voters within district boundaries. A full list of candidates can be viewed on the district's elections webpage. The April 17 forum will take place in Pike Middle School's library at 2200 Texan Drive in Justin, and all candidates are invited to take part.

Registered voters can cast ballots in both the school board election as well as the bond election during early voting from April 24 to May 2, or on Election Day on Saturday, May 6. Polling locations have not yet been announced, though Northwest ISD will communicate locations once they are set.
